FakeMessage.app is for entertainment, storytelling, education, design mockups and parody. Realistic chat screenshots can mislead people, so these rules apply to everything you make here.
You may
- Make texting stories, skits, memes and fiction.
- Create mockups for apps, ads, films, games and presentations.
- Teach people what scams and manipulation look like, clearly labelled as examples.
You may not
- Pass off a generated chat as a real conversation to deceive someone, including as evidence in a dispute, court case, workplace complaint or relationship.
- Impersonate a real person or business to scam, defraud or extort anyone.
- Harass, threaten, bully or defame anyone, or put words in a real person's mouth to damage their reputation.
- Fake payment confirmations, receipts, customer reviews or endorsements.
- Create content involving minors in any sexual or harmful context.
- Break any law where you live.
Label it
When you post a generated chat that could be mistaken for a real one, say that it's fictional or a reenactment.
Trademarks
App names describe the visual style of each generator. FakeMessage.app is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to WhatsApp, Meta, Apple, Snap Inc., Discord, Telegram or Match Group. Don't use exports to suggest that any of these companies endorses you.
